Niyati and Nick were married on a gorgeous afternoon in September under a sea of stars, surrounded by their loved ones. Notably, the couple has the most unique story! They were born on the same day, in the same hospital in Massachusetts. They both eventually moved to Portland, OR, where they met and fell in love. Imagine being born in the same hospital on the same day on one coast, moving to the other coast years later, and meeting and falling in love! It’s so incredible, and proof that they were meant to be.
The couple chose to have their wedding close to their hometowns and chose Overbrook House in Buzzards Bay. This beautiful venue is the perfect space for outdoor weddings. They have a 1920’s cottage on-site, and 22 acres of woods to explore. Specifically, it was very important to Niyati that they have a traditional Indian ceremony, and Nick was completely supportive and enthusiastic about making her dreams come true.
They chose a beautiful palette of orange, yellow, and gold. Niyati wore two stunning Sari’s. One that featured gold and red hues, and another that was a soft cream and mint. Her henna was a showstopper! Additionally, Nick wore traditional groom attire, which coordinated perfectly. Furthermore, Sukhadia Caterers provided traditional Indian cuisine that was positively beyond excellent. For the reception, they had a large tent, so guests could dance the night away!
